 Application Process

Credit Check

We pull credit we look at their FICO score, civil judgment history, collection record, and payment patterns to see their general payment history. One of the more vital parts to the application.

Income

We request that applicants provide the last 2 paycheck stubs they have received.

Landlord Verification

This helps us understand the applicants past payment history and see if there have been any issues in the past.

Full State / National Background Check

The background check will show # of records for the Most Wanted List, Sex Offender List, Possible OFAC/Other Alert List, Criminal, and Eviction.

Security Deposit

In Business Real Estate does not recommend that owners accept Security Deposits, and to consult with an attorney prior to accepting any Security Deposit or move-in fee.In Business Real Estate does not hold, control or manage Security Deposits. Security Deposits are held by the owners when applicable to the properties we manage. Owners are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and statutes governing Security Deposits, including the payment of interest to Lessee when required.

CHA-Chicago Housing Authority

In Business Real Estate are experts when it comes to Section 8 vouchers. We understand that time is of the essence once a voucher holder receives their moving papers. We are highly experienced in passing CHA new move-in inspections and annual inspections. Every step is taken to avoid abatement and provide a satisfactory living space in compliance with HUD guidelines.
